Frequently Asked Questions

  • Psychotherapy is a supportive and collaborative process that enables clients the opportunity to explore their experiences including thoughts, beliefs, emotions, sensations, movements and patterns of behavior that get in the way of living more fully.

  • Please feel free to book your appointment online.

  • Psychological service fees vary depending on the length and nature of services rendered, and all fees are set in accordance with provincial guidelines suggested for the profession. Fees for psychological services may be tax deductible, if claimed on your income tax as medical expenses.

  • Most extended health care providers offer full or partial coverage for psychological services. For specific coverage information, it is best to contact your insurance provider.

    I do not do direct billing but receipts will be provided to submit to insurance.

  • Payments by cash, e-transfer, or Visa or Mastercard are accepted and clients pay prior to each session.
 You will receive a receipt shortly following payment processing that can be used to submit to insurance.

  • Missed appointments or late cancellations (less than 24-hour notice) will result in a late cancellation fee equivalent to a full session.

    Please note that extended healthcare providers typically do not reimburse for cancelled or missed appointments; as such, you may be fully responsible for the cost of a late cancellation.

  • My office location address is 4515 Bow Trail SW.  The building is located right beside the Great Canadian Oil Change in the business centre next door.  

    I would encourage you to take the alley behind the Great Canadian Oil Change as the entrance to the office building is most easily accessed through there.  You are welcome to park in stall #11 Martin and stall #8 Wildwood, however the other parking stalls are for other offices.

  • I do not provide emergency crisis services or 24/7 support. If you are in crisis, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
